Gulberwick Together
A selection of photographs taken by local residents showing our visitors some of the beauty of Gulberwick in winter and summer.
A bright and sunny afternoon with just enough breeze to deter the midges and an ample supply of clean sand resulted in a splendid afternoon of fun and games.
The GulberWeek event held this year has been declared an outstanding success. Everyone who took part, from very young children to senior citizens, enjoyed themselves and the weather was mostly dry and sunny for the outdoor events.
With lots of sand, and the weather being quite good, a great Gulberwick Picnic was had by all!
Another great Gulberwick Country Sports and Activities Weekend took place again this year. More events were added including baby massage, yoga, jazz dancing, fun factory and a tea dance as well as many of the activities from last year, like clay target shooting, trout fishing, yoal rowing, coasteering, trailer trips, walks and mountain biking and finished with a barbecue lunch on Sunday.

Bonfire night in Gulberwick was again a great night for all. A torchlight parade from the hall by several of the older children carrying torches to start the fire marched to the bonfire site on the beach. The good sized bonfire (thanks to Liam Mullay) finaly got going in the strong wind. The fireworks were as impressive as ever and the children all enjoyed the event.
The Gulberwick Hall was again the highlight of the children's Halloween this year. There was a good turnout and some great fancy dress costumes. Halloween games and music kept the hall full of of excitement all afternoon. The quality of the pumpkin lanterns just gets better as you will see.
