The Gulberwick Toddlers Group is open to children living in Gulberwick or the surrounding areas including Lerwick and Quarff. This includes babies right up to pre-school children.

We meet at the Gulberwick Hall every Friday morning from 10am to 11.30am, and this usually includes school holidays.

Our weekly routine is free play together with a chosen activity e.g. drawing, making things etc, followed by snack time, then free play and use of the trikes and cars. We have a wide range and variety of toys for our use, and these were updated in 2007 following fundraising within the Group.

Our aims for the Group are to promote the care and education of babies and children up to the age of 5 by providing an environment which advances their education and social development and encourages the involvement of parents and other appropriate persons in line with the aims of Scottish Pre-School Association.

The Annual Trondra Farm Trip, 2009

The Gulberwick Toddlers Group visited Trondra Farm on a lovely dry day in June, and had a great time visiting the animals there which included turkeys, hens, foals, pigs, ducks &  lambs.

After all the fun at the farm, they visited Trondra Hall where they had their peerie snack.
